Terms of service & privacy

Last updated 16 July 2026. Vakt is run by an individual ("bkhorn", "we"). Short and honest — no legalese walls.

The service

Vakt is a private Discord bot. A subscription lets you run it in a number of servers depending on your plan ($1/month for 1 server, $5/month for 10). The bot only stays in servers registered to an active subscription or approved manually.

Your server is yours — we stay out

This is the important one:

We never enter, view, or touch your server. No human on our side joins your server, reads your channels, or looks at your members — we're not allowed to, and we don't want to.
When you subscribe, we don't even need to know which server it is — you register a server ID yourself, and the bot only acts on commands run by your own members.
The bot does nothing on its own initiative in your server. Every action (ban, purge, verification, ticket) is triggered by your members using its commands and buttons.

What we store

Your Google email — for login and matching your Stripe subscription.
The server IDs you register, and settings you configure (allowed roles, mod-log channel).
Moderation cases created by your moderators (case type, user IDs, reasons) and tickets, so the features work.
Payment details live entirely with Stripe — we never see your card number.

We don't store your messages, don't sell or share any data, and delete your server's data if you remove the server or ask us to.

Billing

Subscriptions renew monthly via Stripe. Cancel anytime in the billing portal — no questions, no dark patterns.
When a subscription ends, the bot leaves your server(s). Your settings are kept for 30 days in case you come back.
Something charged wrong? DM bkhorn on Discord and we'll sort out a refund.

Fair use

Don't use the bot for anything illegal or against Discord's Terms of Service. We can end service for abuse (with a refund of unused time). The bot is provided as-is; we aim for it to run 24/7 but can't promise perfection.
